A fast-paced Hack & Slash, Biblical Inspired action adventure game where you step into the role of the Set Apart One — a faithful warrior guided by Wisdom, battling the forces of darkness, toppling the Adversary’s strongholds, while wielding weapons of warfare and spiritual gifts drawn directly from Scripture.
Kedoshim Studios · Unreal Engine 5 · Windows (PC)
Embark on the journey of the Set Apart One, a faithful warrior equipped with an arsenal of Weapons of Warfare and a divine array of Gifts. Guided by Wisdom, on a quest to battle the forces of darkness, topple the Adversary’s strongholds, and answer the call to be SET APART.
SAO walking the Domain · captured in-engine, development build
As fewer warriors answered her call through the ages, Wisdom’s Domain was overrun by emissaries who raised Baetyls and strongholds in allegiance to the Adversary they serve. Nine strongholds stand across the Domain, eight of them held by an emissary. You travel the Domain, lay siege to what has been built there, and face the one who holds it, stronghold after stronghold, until only the Adversary remains.
Weapons of Warfare Combos · captured in-engine, development build
Master unique combos across four weapons — the Sword of the Spirit, the Hammer of War, the Divider of Soul and Spirit, and your Fingers Trained for Battle. Swap between them mid-combo without breaking the chain.
SAO Gifts · captured in-engine, development build
Call down Consuming Fire to not only burn away the Adversary’s forces but also empower your Weapons of Warfare. Scatter the enemy with the Sword of the Lord, raise a Hedge of Protection in the heat of battle, and send shockwaves through the ranks of the Adversary’s forces as you press forward.
Pawns and Emissaries of the Light · captured in-engine, development build
Following the orders of their Master, the Pawns and Emissaries of the Light have invaded Wisdom’s Domain, attempting to claim it as their own. They built strongholds, erected Baetyls and have vowed to protect them even if it meant perishing at the hands of the called.
Wisdom fighting beside the Set Apart One · captured in-engine, development build
She is not a follower who trails behind you. Wisdom fights at your side with her own gifts and her own judgment, opens the way where the Domain has closed it, and speaks the words that carry you from the first step to the last stronghold. Her voice is drawn from Proverbs — and in the Den of the Wolf, where she cannot follow, you will feel every lesson she taught you.
Captured in-engine, development build
A development pipeline mirroring industry-standard principles and “The Epic Way” from concept to packaged build utilizing the latest gameplay and world building features such as PCG, Nanite, Lumen, GASP, GAS etc.
Wisdom MetaHuman Animator, performance by Imani Peters · captured in-engine, development build
Imani Peters performs all of Wisdom’s facial animation straight from her smartphone. The footage runs through MetaHuman Animator, and Xavier Alleyne handles cleanup and correction by hand — with little formal animation experience.

We draw on the vast library of Unreal Engine 3rd Party assets bought from Fab.com, Cosmos by Laetres, KitBash3D, Quixel Megascans and more. Every pack is a starting point, not an asset flip or a shortcut. Our environment artist takes the pieces, assembles them and art directs each set until the result matches the look and feel we set out to achieve with Wisdom’s Domain.
Captured in-engine (UE 5.6) from our latest development 0.05.01 build as of August 31st 2026.
Wishlists are how Steam decides a game matters. Add The Pursuit of Wisdom to yours and you will be the first to know when it is playable — no date is being claimed until it is certain.
Windows (PC), via Steam. Nothing beyond PC is confirmed.
Our goal is December 2027 but if the need to delay arises, no later than March 2028. The game is in active development, well past the “Figuring things out phase” with its foundational codebase and Modular framework locked. Now we just need to scale our 25 minute demo to a 10 hour experience. Wishlist on Steam and you will be notified the moment the date is locked.
Our plan is to release it at $20 USD on digital storefronts.
By Definition, Most certainly Yes, but there are some caveats. The entire premise of the POTSA: The Pursuit of wisdom is built on merging Wisdom’s call in Proverbs 8–9 with Paul’s call for believers in Christ to engage in spiritual warfare in Ephesians 6:10–18.
Every Weapon of Warfare and every Spiritual Gift links back to a passage of Scripture, and as of September 2026 a fifth of Wisdom’s written dialogue is word-for-word quotation of Scripture.
Yes — Fight the Good Fight is a free UEFN prototype built to test design concepts for this game.
Single-player, with Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud and Family Sharing. English interface, audio and subtitles.
We have not used, and do not plan to use, any generative image, video or 3D modeling tools in the development of this game. No Nano Banana, no GPT Image, no Grok, no Tripo, no Meshy. Every visual element in the game, from concept art to 3D models to particle effects, was either custom made by our contract and freelance partners or bought from an asset store such as Fab.com, Cosmos by Laetres or KitBash3D. Every environment you walk through, every weapon you swing and every enemy you face was authored by a person.
AI coding tools, in particular Claude Opus models, are used on the programming side of things. The game’s foundational codebase was hand written by Xavier A. between October 2024 and May 2025, but with the advancement of AI coding models we now use them heavily there. Wisdom’s C++ code and her companion logic, the systems that decide how she flies beside you and when her projectiles explode, were done almost entirely by AI.
AI is not used, and is strictly prohibited from being used, in the scripting or ideation phase of any Kedoshim Studios property, from Intercession to Parables of the Set Apart.
Everything on this Website that is not artwork, an Unreal render, a portfolio element or crucial text like this paragraph was generated by Claude, including this landing page.
