One universe. Every game, comic, and film we craft is a fictionalized reimagining of Spiritual Warfare — what happens in the Unseen Realm when Christians pray and worship. The faithful are set apart; the Adversaries prowl like roaring lions.
Spiritual Warfare is waged through intercessory prayer and worship (Ephesians 6:18). In the Physical Realm — believers touching and agreeing in prayer. In the Spiritual Realm — their Spirit Man in full Armor of God, dismantling strongholds.
The Physical and Spiritual Realms are woven nearly seamlessly together. Every place has a spiritual reflection that twists under demonic influence — and Heaven and Hell are never portrayed.
Every ability translates a real scripture, biblical event, or metaphor (1 Corinthians 12:4–11). All believers share four Universal Gifts: the Armor of God, the Sword of the Spirit & Weapons of Warfare, Spiritual Discernment, and Enhanced Strength & Agility.
The Devil and the entities named in Revelation are never portrayed — those battles belong to Christ alone. Our Adversaries are fictional Spiritual Forces of Darkness drawn from scriptures that describe demonic activity.
Kedoshim was sparked in 2021 out of conviction toward the trajectory of modern entertainment — and the gap left for believers who love fictional media. The Initiative exists to create alternatives that fill the love-for-fiction gap while strengthening a person’s relationship with God, and to empower aspiring Christian creators in comics, games, and entertainment.
Every Kedoshim story is a fictionalized reimagining of Spiritual Warfare — what happens in the Spiritual Realm when Christians pray and worship. The primary conflict is never a world-ending threat, but the battle waged until Eternity between Christians and the kingdom of darkness, anchored on intercessory prayer. Ephesians 6:18
In the Physical Realm: believers touching and agreeing in prayer in a living room. In the Spiritual Realm: the Spirit Man of each one, clothed in the Armor of God and weapons of light, moving as a militant force against the demonic powers they pray against.
The Physical World is slightly more advanced than ours — futuristic, but never unrealistic. The Spiritual Realm is ethereal and ever-shifting, inspired by Ezekiel’s visions of the Glory of God. The two are woven nearly seamlessly — two sides of the same coin: a well-kept city may reflect one-to-one, or twist into a barren wasteland under demonic influence. Daniel 10:7 · Isaiah 6 · Ezekiel 1 · 2 Kings 6:15–18
Heaven and Hell are never portrayed. No Kedoshim character makes trips to either.
During prayer a believer transitions into the Spiritual Realm, where time has no 1:1 correlation — a two-minute battle or an entire stronghold take-down can pass in a flash of light. The unaware see only a blink; the spiritually discerning see the intercessor in full armor.
Every God-fearing believer engaging in warfare has access to:
Beyond the universal four, gifts are apportioned solely by God’s sovereign will (1 Corinthians 12:4–11) and are always translated from Scripture in one of three ways:
Example — Magen (Hebrew: shield) personifies “The Lord is my Shield”: nigh-indestructible armor, an oversized shield, and one calculated, devastating strike.
Demonic entities are ranked in three tiers after Ephesians 6:12, operating out of strongholds as in Daniel 10:
The hard boundary: the Devil himself and the entities named in Revelation are never portrayed — those battles belong to Christ alone.
The heart of Parables of the Set Apart: The Pursuit of Wisdom — a faithful warrior guided by Wisdom, armed with the Sword of the Spirit, toppling the strongholds the Adversaries have set up in high places.
Anchored on a fictional concept of intercessory prayer (Ephesians 6:18), Intercession follows Christians gifted with divine spiritual abilities who have set themselves apart for honourable use — acting on God’s instruction to dismantle strongholds, defeat demonic forces, and be salt and light on the earth. Issue 1 is out now.

The Spiritual Forces of Darkness are ranked in three tiers after Ephesians 6:12 — minions who spread wickedness, Emissaries who raise strongholds, and the finite, ancient Adversaries: the Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing, the Angel of Light, the Roaring Lion, the Prince of the Air, the Queen of Heaven, and Lady Folly.
